Security Manager DoubleTree by Hilton Guwahati Job Overview
As Security Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and supervising Hilton’s global Safety & Security Management and Fire Prevention Regulations across all departments. You will lead the security team, conduct regular patrols, plan emergency procedures, and ensure the highest standards of safety and guest protection in a luxury hotel environment.
This role reports to senior management and plays a critical part in maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere for guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and supervise Hilton International Safety & Security Management and Fire Prevention Regulations
- Ensure protection of hotel property, guests, team members, and their belongings
- Organize daily patrols and security checks throughout the hotel premises
- Identify and remove potential accident or fire hazards
- Plan and conduct emergency drills for fire and security situations
- Provide on-site guidance during emergencies such as fire or explosions
- Train team members on safety, fire prevention, and security procedures
- Liaise with Police (PSB), Fire Control Bureau, and other government authorities
- Prepare security plans for VIP events and high-profile guests
- Maintain strong relationships with external security and regulatory agencies
- Monitor and report all incidents, accidents, and security breaches
- Ensure team members follow hotel rules and emergency policies
Eligibility & Requirements
Experience:
- More than 5 years of hotel security managing experience
- At least 10 years of total experience in security and fire control fields
Education:
- College graduate or equivalent
Key Skills:
- Proficient knowledge of government regulations and technical rules related to security & fire safety
- Strong leadership and team training abilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- Good command of English (preferred)
- Operations, management, and labour-related experience (preferred)
Other Requirements:
- Able to work in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment
- Valid health certificate
- High level of integrity and professionalism
