- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and
- Passed/appearing in:
- 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), OR
- 4-Year B.El.Ed, OR
- Equivalent qualification
Paper-II (Classes VI to VIII)
Candidates must have:
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and
- Passed/appearing in:
- B.Ed, OR
- Equivalent teacher education programme

- No upper age limit for CTET.
