Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess either:
- B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution OR
- GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) from a recognized Nursing School/Institution.
- Candidates should be registered with the Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council (ANMHVC) or the appropriate Nursing Council.
NHM Assam Staff Nurse Age Limit
The candidate’s age should be up to 40 years as on 01 January 2026.
Age relaxation in the maximum age limit will be applicable as follows:

SC/ST candidates: 5 years
OBC/MOBC candidates: 3 years
