Job Type Regular Appointment under Compassionate Ground Scheme (Central Government Paramilitary Force Job)
Eligibility Criteria (Compassionate Ground Only)
- Only one dependent family member per deceased / medically discharged Assam Rifles personnel can apply.
- Dependent of Assam Rifles personnel who were: – Killed in Action (KIA) – Died while in service – Discharged on medical grounds – Missing while in service
- Educational Qualification: 10th Pass / 12th Pass / ITI / Diploma (trade-wise requirement – check detailed notification).
- Age Limit: As per Assam Rifles rules (generally 18–23/25 years as on 01.01.2026, with relaxation for eligible categories).
Salary & Benefits Pay Scale as per 7th CPC for Rifleman, Havildar & Warrant Officer ranks + Dearness Allowance, Ration, Medical, Housing, Pension, and other paramilitary benefits.
