Educational Qualification
Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution. Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed local-language requirement for the RRB/state concerned.
Officer Scale-I
A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution is required, along with the other conditions prescribed in the notification.
Officer Scale-II
Qualification and experience depend on the particular specialist/general banking post. For example, professional qualifications are prescribed for IT, CA, Law, Agriculture, Marketing and Treasury positions.
Officer Scale-III
Candidates require a Bachelor’s degree along with the prescribed professional experience and other eligibility conditions.

For Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant, the examination is conducted in two phases. Scale-II and Scale-III candidates appear for a single online examination followed by an interview.
Can a candidate apply for both Office Assistant and Officer?
Yes. A candidate can apply for Office Assistant and one post in the Officer cadre. However, a candidate cannot apply for multiple Officer Scale posts simultaneously. Separate applications and applicable fees are required.
