Minimum Qualification & Experience
For DGM (Legal) – RG/05/26
- Qualification: Degree in Law (recognized by Bar Council of India)
- Post-Qualification Experience: Minimum 11 years in relevant legal field.
- Govt/PSU candidates: At least 2 years in IDA Pay Scale ₹60,000-1,80,000 or equivalent CDA Level-11 (7th CPC).
- Private sector candidates: Annual CTC of at least ₹23.71 LPA in the last organization.
For Assistant Manager (Legal) – RG/06/26
- Qualification: Degree in Law (recognized by Bar Council of India)
- Post-Qualification Experience: Minimum 02 years in relevant legal fields.
Percentage Criteria:
- UR/EWS: Minimum 60% marks or First Class in qualifying degree.
- Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD): Minimum 50% marks.
Note: Training, internship, teaching, or PhD research (except on-the-job training) will not be counted as experience.

Selection Process
For Assistant Manager (Legal): Written Test (125 objective questions, 2.5 hours, no negative marking) → Document Scrutiny → Interview Weightage: Written Test 60% + Interview 40%
For DGM (Legal): Document Scrutiny → Interview only (100% weightage)
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- Written Test: 50% (UR/EWS), 45% (Reserved)
- Interview: 60% (UR/EWS), 50% (Reserved)
Test Centers (for Written Test – tentative): Delhi/Gurgaon, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati.
Syllabus for Written Test (Assistant Manager) includes Arbitration & Conciliation Act, Indian Contract Act, CPC & Limitation Act, RTI, Labour Laws, Constitutional Law, Company Law, Criminal Law, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, etc.
